Charlotte 49ers Campaign

UNC Charlotte’s Athletic Department (Judy Rose and Mike Hummer) came to LGA to help build some awareness for UNC Charlotte’s bid for a football team. Initially they had 5000 names that had been collected to show interest. The next task  was to sale 5000 49ers Seat Licenses (FSLs) in the worst economy. First we had to build awareness of the effort. We started with a rallying cry – It’s A Rush.

We developed a video, website and a brochure as part of Phase 1. Phase 2 looked outward more to the general public and we utilized outdoor, newspaper and direct mail. Here are a few of the pieces.

Our efforts helped raise enough sales to initiate the program and it is slated to start in 2013. We also one 3 silver Addys and 2 Gold Addys for the different pieces of the campaign.
